Technology in our days is in every step that we take, almost everywhere. Kids are growing up with computers and Smartphone’s. For them it is an interesting way also to learn something. It happens to me for two years while teaching English, a student always asked for new words every day. This student was studying English language through internet in different levels. So, there are different ways that kids can learn through technology.

In English lesson they need the help of technology in listening, reading and pronunciation. If they hear a song and you show them also with moves they are going to learn it faster and they are going to enjoy it to. They love to learn information through playing. When a student or a kid is going to listen a new lesson need to have an audio in this way it is easier for them to learn. Well, this is not so difficult to achieve as a teacher but to help students also with a power point, or an English laboratory it is impossible. They do not have the luxury to have all this conditions to learn in a funny or more attractive way. In Albanian schools do not offer such conditions it is a pity to deny this possibility to the students. I was teaching for the fourth class and I wanted to teach them a song but we didn’t have an audio so I bought it by myself. Furthermore, when you need to show them at least a short movie or a short play there is no such possibility. The students have to learn usually all by heart. Only with games or by different books with a lot of pictures you can teach a new topic or a lesson.

To sum up, technology is almost everywhere but the opportunities to use it are limited. Even though internet is so spread now days, information is only touchable for the main cities in Albania. All kids and students should have equal possibilities to learn. If technology it is used with teaching, the improvement and the interest in learning is going to increase the level of students and pupils.

Why should teachers involve technology?

Technology in these days is growing too fast every single moment. We see children addicted to internet and games. It is true that internet is almost in each house. How and why should teachers involve students in using technology for teaching purposes? Well, through technology for example: in English can be used for listening speaking and writing. They can listen to different audios, watching short videos in connection with lesson and practice it with different exercises.

Teachers have different reasons to use technology they can show the lesson visually with power point. Students or pupils might have it easier to concentrate visually on the lesson which is explained by the teacher. There are also different ways to use the technology in learning let me give you an example: one of my American teachers opened a page that all the students can post a subject that they wanted and discuss about it. This interaction between us was really interesting; almost everyone brought a new idea on the discussion. Each of us had the possibility to express his or her opinion on different topics which were raise from the students.

Today students have different cities online to help them with different works or exercises. Teachers can use them to interact lesson with technology in learning. Involving technology in teaching is very important because for students that are learning a language without hearing can’t develop comprehension exercises without it. Students can use internet also to work on various school projects.

To sum up, teaching is strongly related to technology to increase the level of learning. In different subjects it is really needed to use power point to give a better image of something explained.
